This Jason has a reduced cooldown on Shift, a pretty overpowered fast-moving ability, does increased weapon damage, and can break down doors faster. If the skills it comes with were no good, it probably wouldn't be too big of a deal, but it comes with some pretty attractive perks. This Jason doesn't really fit that category though, as it has its own unique advantages and disadvantages in the game like the rest of the playable Jason characters.
One notable part of the post is that it keeps referencing the Jason content as a "skin," a word that typically applies to purely cosmetic changes. The Savini Jason variation, designed by and named after make-up effects artist Tom Savini, comes with a menacing appearance and some impressive skills, but it looks like the hellish Jason won't ever be resold as future DLC, according to publisher Gun Media. Friday the 13th: The Game has been out for just a couple of days now, and already players are aching to get their hands on that sweet, fiery version of Jason Voorhees that's called Savini Jason.
